Each year staff from BH&B attend travel professional shows on our member’s behalf.  In 2017, we will again attend a mix of trade shows meeting with both domestic and international tour operators, travel agents, receptive operators and media. American Bus AssociationJanuary 14-17, 2017; Cleveland, OH

Every January, ABA welcomes the travel and tourism community to the first conference of the year – the industry’s premier business event – ABA's Annual Meeting & Marketplace. More than 3,500 tour operators, suppliers and exhibitors come together to kick off a new year of business opportunity and growth.  ABA's Annual Meeting & Marketplace is truly a market-place – an active, vibrant forum of buyers and sellers where business gets done. With more than 140,000 pre-scheduled appointments and 800 pre-qualified operators, ABA's Annual Meeting & Marketplace offers a year’s worth of sales meetings in one week.
 

Go West SummitFebruary 20-23, 2017; Reno-Taho, NV

Go West’s successful event formula and comprehensive, well-rounded program are designed to provide you with every available opportunity to negotiate business contracts, establish relationships, and gain a better understanding of a variety of topics relevant to the tourism industry. Suppliers representing destinations, properties and attractions from the American West and international tour operators participate in multi-day networking sessions. By matching tour operators from around the globe with Western U.S.-based suppliers in a one-on-one, business-friendly environment, Go West Summit is an event where exciting, profitable and lasting relationships are born.

 

Rocky Mountain International RoundupMay 3-5, 2017; Bismarck ND

International Roundup (IRU) is not your typical tradeshow. Within the two days of pre-scheduled business appointments- regional suppliers from over 80 organizations from around the Real America region, and nearly 50 international and domestic buyers from more than 10 countries- conduct business negotiations that result in the generation of more than $12 million in future travel to the four-state region of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.  Operators in attendance at IRU have either started sending their business to the RMI region, are interested in expanding current business, or would like to learn more about the region for future business.

 

IPWJune 3-7, 2017; Washington, DC

U.S. Travel Association’s IPW is the travel industry's premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the U.S. In just three days of intensive pre-scheduled business appointments- more than 1,000 U.S. travel organizations from every region of the USA (representing all industry category components), and more than 1,300 international and domestic buyers from more than 70 countries- conduct business negotiations that result in the generation of more than $4.7 billion in future Visit USA travel. At IPW, buyers and sellers are able to conduct business that would otherwise be generated only through an exhaustive number of around-the-world trips.

 

National Tour AssociationDecember 14-18, 2017; San Antonio, TX

Travel Exchange is NTA’s annual conference, where members do business, learn more about the industry and find out how others are tackling challenges. It’s a chance for members to meet the travel world under one roof. Simply put, TREX is the most important travel industry event of the year, featuring the newest travel product from every U.S. state, Canadian province and 30+ countries. It brings NTA members together all in one place — ready to partner up and elevate travel experiences.  Travel Exchange will be twice as nice in 2017  as the NTA convention returns to fourth-quarter dates. TREX will be held first in St. Louis, Feb. 26–March 2 and then again in San Antonio, Dec. 14–18
