TeePee is a small, quiet campground and RV Park. Close to town and central to all Black Hills attractions. Reasonable rates. 30-50 amp electricity, easy, roomy pull-thrus, laundry, showers, free Wi-Fi, sleeping cabins, tent sites, monthly rates. Rental cars and tours available. Good Sam.
Directions to TeePee Campground: Take Exit 57 south to Omaha Street (Hwy 44), make a one block jog east, then turn south, continue on Hwy 16 (Mt. Rushmore Rd) and drive through Rapid City to TeePee. or Take Exit 61 (Elk Vale Road) and follow it as it becomes Catron (truck 16 bypass) to Hwy 16, go 1 mile south.
TeePee Campground is easy to find. Take either Exit 57 or Exit 61 from Interstate 90 and head south of Rapid City. We are located on Highway 16 (Mt. Rushmore Road) right after the National Forest Ranger station. Some of our features are: cool grassy sites with a great view of the Black Hills * 30 or 50 amp sites * sleeping cabins * tent sites. We have roomy pull through sites, a convenience store, laundry, playground, dump station, good cell phone and digital TV reception, showers, free WIFI throughout the park. Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you pick up after them. No pets in the cabins please. We accept VISA & Mastercard; Good Sam, AARP & AAA discounts. Monthly prices when available.
Well-behaved Pets Welcome! We have a small camp store, DVD checkout, soda pop & juices, ice cream treats, free coffee in the morning, and friendly owners and camp workers. Our showers are free, our bathrooms are clean, we keep our campground clean also. We are located on Hwy 16 southwest of Rapid City, so it is easy to drive north, south, or west to see the Black Hills, and we are only five miles to good restaurants and grocery stores in Rapid City. Ask us for information about sight-seeing, shopping, eating, repair shops, etc. We like to help campers.
