No Fireworks Display during the 2010 Celebration
Visitors are reminded that fireworks will not be displayed during this year's celebration due to the high fire danger resulting from an epidemic of Mountain Pine Beetle infestation in and around the Memorial and the high number of standing dead trees with needles intact in these areas. No fireworks or pyrotechnics of any kind (including sparklers, firecrackers, bottle rockets) are permitted at the Memorial. No grilling is allowed during July 3 and 4; this includes gas, charcoal and electric grills.
