West River Electric Association

West River Electric Association (WREA) is a non-profit electric cooperative serving six counties in western South Dakota; Pennington, Meade, Haakon, Ziebach, Jackson and Oglala Lakota. Headquartered in Wall, SD, since 1939, WREA’s mission is “to serve our members best interest.” You can see firsthand their mission in action participating in community parades, first responder electrical safety training, supporting youth sporting events, post-secondary schooling scholarships, and ensuring you have safe, reliable, and affordable electricity throughout Wall and Rapid City.
