Customer Service Training
The day began bright and early with a hearty breakfast hosted by Visit Rapid City, setting the perfect tone for our Spring Hospitality Training with Betsy Allen-Manning. Retail professionals and service providers came together to sharpen their customer service skills, ensuring every visitor's experience in our region is nothing short of exceptional.
Highway 385 Updates
Tim Wicks, Custer Area Engineering Supervisor, 605-673-4948 updated those in attendance with the Highway 385 construction project. This included up-to-date information, timelines, rerouting options, and additional BH&B marketing efforts through the RouteReimagined campaign.
Parks & Attractions Meeting Recap
At 11:00 AM, the BH&B Parks & Attractions Meeting where key industry updates and insights were shared. Participants discussed strategies to enhance tourist experiences and ways to cooperate for extending visitor stays, truly embodying the collaborative spirit that defines our region.
41st Literature Swap
The doors swung open at 2 PM for the Literature Swap, our hallmark event where 169 industry peers from 124 businesses exchanged marketing materials and caught up with familiar faces. Everyone stocked up on the 2024 South Dakota Vacation Guide and Black Hills maps, preparing to enchant incoming travelers with the best our region has to offer.

The Business-to-Business Mingle & Mix provided a fantastic networking opportunity. BH&B Corporate Partners showcased their latest products and services, playing a key role in bolstering the local tourism infrastructure. The door prize drawings were a highlight, adding an extra layer of excitement to the mix!
