Available exclusively to our Member community, Member-to-Member Mentoring is a self-directed mentoring program that gives you the opportunity to be matched 1:1 with a mentor, or mentee, who is also a fellow BH&B Member. The program provides a platform where you can form new connections, learn from other tourism professionals, and share advice and experiences. Based on your experience level and needs, you may request a Mentor, become a Mentor, or both.

Support BH&B and the tourism industry by becoming a mentor. Our mentors share, support and help with no strings attached. Mentoring can help you turn your passion into conversations, friendships and network with the industry.

  • Terrific networking opportunity! Mentors have the unique opportunity to get to know businesses in the region and build relationships with new members.
  • Provide a mutually beneficial industry resource through connecting members with like-minded needs. Help grow BH&B and keep it strong.

Become a Mentor

How the program will work:

  • New members will learn about the mentor program from BH&B staff, through BH&B’s industry newsletter and through new member calls made by the BH&B board. 
  • Mentors will be highlighted on the website, including their bio and areas of expertise. 
  • Forms for those interested in becoming a mentee or mentor will be housed on BH&B’s website in our industry resource toolbox.
  • Mentees will either submit the form to have BH&B staff match them with a mentor or they can contact the mentor via provided information on the website if they have questions for a specific mentor.
