Spring Fling Fun & Glow Egg Hunt at Rush Mountain Adventure Park

It’s a new twist on an Easter Egg Hunt!  March 30 & 31, 2024
Have you ever seen glowing Easter eggs?  We’ve discovered that the Easter Bunny hides lots of different colored glowing eggs inside Rushmore Cave.  It happens each year over Easter weekend.  So, make plans to come on out, take a cave tour and count all the glowing eggs you can find for a chance to win a GRAND PRIZE!  Plus, the first 300 children are guaranteed a goodie bag! (Note:  You do not collect the eggs, you count the number of different colored glowing eggs you see.  This way, everyone has a chance to find and count them all.)
In addition to finding the glowing eggs inside Rushmore Cave, you can ride the Rushmore Mountain Coaster, 2-seated Zipline ride, Gunslinger 7D interactive/virtual reality ride and more!  PLUS, face painting, games, prizes and photos with the Easter Bunny are all included with the purchase of a cave tour ticket, wristband, or season pass.
(This egg glow event is geared for ages 12 and younger but will be fun for everyone!)
It happens each year on the Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend (weather permitting).
Tickets will be available at Rush Mountain on the day of the event.

Sturgis Volksmarch

The Volksmarch, German for the “People’s March,” is an annual Sturgis event that has been happening for decades. Sturgis Volksmarches are sanctioned by the Black Hills Volkssport Association and follow a new and noteworthy trail route each year for participating hikers.
Why Volksmarch? Marchers participate for a variety of reasons - exercise, social interaction, exploring new trails, or just pure enjoyment. Most hikers walk at a leisurely pace to take in the natural beauty of the area, but it is up to each participant! Sturgis is lucky to be flanked by National Forest on one side and Great Plains on the other, offering countless opportunities for outdoor recreation on a variety of terrain. Past Volksmarches have visited Deadman Canyon, the historic Davenport Dams, the Alkali Creek area, Bear Butte State Park, and even a march through the town itself to highlight Sturgis’s unique history and culture.
