GARDEN GRANGE DISPLAY COMPETITION:
Gardeners everywhere are invited to enter the "Garden Grange Display" competition! Simply select up to 10 of your best, most impressive home-grown produce items (can include vegetables, grains, berries, fruits, flowers, etc - small items may be grouped) and arrange them in your designated 2'x3' (approx.) table display area for judging and public vote. You may sell or keep your items!  Registration form and full competition details coming soon.
HOT PEPPER EATING CONTEST:
Do you have taste buds of steel? Are you considered a champion of spicy foods amongst your family and friends? Test your mettle and enter our Hot Pepper Eating Contest! 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has grown a lot since it started in 1938. In addition to racing and hill climbing events, the Black Hills offers the best scenic rides to iconic destinations such as Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain, and Devils Tower.

Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival

Don’t miss out on this unforgettable celebration of fall. The Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival is a perfect way to embrace the season with family and friends.

  • Local Vendor Booths: Discover a wide range of local produce and handcrafted goods as you stroll through the bustling vendor booths.
  • Kidz Zone and Hayrides: Keep the kids entertained with a dedicated Kidz Zone filled with fun activities and enjoy relaxing hayrides around the area.
  • Pumpkin Catapults: Witness the excitement as pumpkins are launched through the air in Memorial Park. The first round kicks off at 10:15 am, followed by a second round at 12:00 pm.
  • Pumpkin Weigh-Off: Marvel at the giant pumpkins competing in the weigh-off at City Hall starting at 11:00 am, with an awards ceremony to follow at 11:30 am.
